This is a drawing I did back in 2008, and am still happy with it to this day.
Sorry I haven't been posting lately, I've been really tired and slightly busy... mostly tired. To make up for lack of posting, I finally started scanning my Bionicle sketches from years back, and plan to get blogging about them.
For today I'm posting Toa Lewa, one of my most favorite Bionicle figures in design. To get the perfect "look", I posed the figure in the desired flight position, then placed him on a doll stand so he was hovering above the desk. After zoning out for awhile I got the complete work. It was so satisfying I went on to do a few more, but those are for later viewing.
